Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. When is the due date for Registration Fee payment?
Kindly pay the Registration Fee before 18 August 2020 (Tuesday) or one day earlier before your date of registration. This is to ensure your payment is reflected in our system. Last day to register is on 26 August 2020 (Wednesday).

2. How to make payment?
Payments can be made in the same Online Application System when you apply for UNITEN. Select the login applicant, enter your email address and password. Email if you forget the info. In the system, please select FPX payment. You may choose to make payment according to item of payment. To know more on making payment, read here.

3. Should I pay the Accommodation Fee since classes will adopt virtual learning?
All new students are required to come to campus starting 29 August 2020 (Saturday) and stay in UNITEN Student Accommodation. The details of check-in will be informed after registration. You may pay the Accommodation Fee deposit of RM250 in the Online Application System to book different types of our campus accommodation.

4. When should I pay my tuition fee?
UNITEN provides flexibility in this payment. The tuition fee can be paid after receiving student invoice, which will be given two weeks after registration of new students. The deadline to pay for tuition fee is at least one month before final examinations or online assessments.

5. How about the Virtual Orientation?
The Virtual Orientation is on 1-4 September 2020, 10.00 am - 3.30 pm. There will be different modules everyday so you're required to join all sessions.

6. What documents do I need to provide during the registration?
The E-Booklet can be submitted before 11 September 2020 (Friday) by uploading it at online application system. The system will allow you to do it after you have successfully register as a new student with us. You can also submit the documents physically when students are allowed to be on campus at Counter 2, UNITEN Customer Centre (UCC).

Finance documents such as LOI, LOG and LOC must be duly stamped, scanned and emailed to before 11 September 2020 (Friday) and send via e-mail to Original documents must be sent to Counter 6 at UNITEN Customer Centre (UCC) after students are allowed to physically to be on campus. Official announcement from the University will be made accordingly.

7. How to obtain registration documents (E-Booklet, LOC, LOG & LOI) if I cannot download from application system?

8. Can my parents be my Guarantor?
Yes, your parents, family members or relatives with income above RM2,000 can be your guarantor.

9. Where can I get more info on Virtual Learning and UNITEN student account?
You will receive emails for Notification on Registration Status and Notification on User Account Activation within 2 hours after completion of your registration. You may read detailed info here:
