23 January 2023 – Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) and Institut Teknologi Perusahaan Listrik Nasional (ITPLN) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration and utilise joint resources to benefit both institutions. 

This includes the development of academic and cultural exchange programmes in the field of education. 

The MoU was signed by Vice Chancellor of UNITEN, Prof. Ir. Dr. Noor Azuan Abu Osman, and Rector of ITPLN, Prof. Dr. Ir. Iwa Garniwa M K, MT. The MoU covers collaboration in areas such as dual-degree programmes, research collaboration - matching grant dan joint publication and student exchange.
