GLU (Goverment Linked University) Scholarship

 

The GLU (Goverment Linked University) Scholarship Application for 2024 is now open! This scholarship program is specially designed for students who excel academically and in extracurricular activities and show high leadership qualities.

Programs Offered: Accounting and Electrical Power Engineering (at the Foundation or Bachelor’s Degree level)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Malaysian citizen
  • Minimum 8As in SPM (including core and elective subjects) for application to Foundation, OR
  • Minimum CGPA of 3.50 in STPM or other equivalent qualifications ie. A-Levels, UEC, Matriculation, Foundation or Diploma for application to Bachelor’s Degree, OR
  • Minimum CGPA of 3.50 for current students in their first year of Bachelor’s degree
  • Have been accepted to pursue a foundation or full-time first-degree program at UNITEN
  • Demonstrates high leadership qualities through active involvement in extracurricular activities, community service, and/or sports events
  • Must pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Electrical Power Engineering at UNITEN
  • Have a strong interest and inclination to pursue a career in Accounting and Electrical Power Engineering
  • Not receiving any scholarships, educational loans, or financial assistance from any organization
  • Priority will be given to those who demonstrate financial needs
  • Must pass the interview conducted by the GLU Council Committee
