Sports & Cultural

UNITEN is committed to provide you with opportunities to be involved in a wide variety of recreational courses, adventure programmes, sports, swimming classes, as well as state, national and international level university sport competitions.

UNITEN students are expected to be actively involved in extra-curricular activities. An Olympic-size swimming pool located next to the Dewan Seri Sarjana is also equipped with a circular children’s swimming pool and is the centre of aquatic activities.

Dewan Seri Sarjana, the university’s biggest Multi-Purpose Hall with 3,000 capacity, is used as the venue for the university’s annual convocation ceremony, indoor sports, cultural activities, corporate and social events.

The UNITEN Main Stadium is an impressive sporting arena that meets the requirements of national level athletics competition.

The university also has a Mini Stadium with a seating capacity of 300 spectators for track and field events and multi-purpose pitches for football, hockey and rugby complement part of the facilities available.

The latest addition is the Sports Arena @UNITEN which has 11 indoor courts (futsal, netball, sepak takraw, basketball and volleyball).

To further enhance the learning environment, two artificial lakes totaling 9.9 hectares were created to provide tranquility. The campus is well landscaped with indigenous trees, palms and colorful shrubs as well as fountains and artificial waterfalls.

At the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Campus in Muadzam Shah, Pahang, indoor and outdoor sports facilities are also available for track and field events, fields for soccer, rugby and hockey as well as courts for tennis, badminton and sepak takraw.

  1. Check for availability of facilities at USK counter
  2. Make official application using forms available at USK counter
  3. Get approval from Sports Officer
  4. Make payment and keep official receipt for reference
  5. Take care of facilities or rental items used. You are responsible for any damages or loss.

The UNITEN Gamelan group performed live during TV3’s “Wanita Hari Ini” segment. They were also invited to perform in the “Assalamualaikum” segment on TV AlHijrah, at its main studio in Cyberjaya.
