UNITEN x Astro BizOne Watch Party Meriah

19 April 2026 - Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), in collaboration with Astro BizOne and Kelab Kilat Kebangsaan (KKK), successfully hosted an electrifying Campus Watch Party, featuring a live screening of the English Premier League (EPL) on 19 April 2026 at the COE Food Court, UNITEN. The highly anticipated matches against Everton faced Liverpool, while Arsenal went head-to-head with Manchester City.
The atmosphere was nothing short of exhilarating, with over 900 football enthusiasts in attendance—ranging from loyal supporters of the competing teams to students and visitors simply there to enjoy the vibrant experience. The event was further enhanced with complimentary ‘mamak’-style cuisine, recreating the familiar and nostalgic setting of watching football matches at local eateries.
Adding to the excitement, the programme featured interactive quizzes, lucky draws, and exclusive prizes sponsored by Astro, creating an engaging and lively environment for all attendees. The presence of legendary national football icons, Datuk Dollah Salleh and Khalid Jamlus, further elevated the event, drawing even greater enthusiasm from the crowd.
On the pitch, Liverpool once again demonstrated their attacking prowess, securing a 2–1 victory over Everton. Meanwhile, Arsenal, fondly known as “The Gunners,” delivered an impressive performance to defeat Manchester City with the same 2–1 scoreline. These thrilling matches intensified the energy of the crowd, sparking passionate reactions throughout the venue.
The UNITEN Astro BizOne Campus Watch Party proved to be an effective platform in strengthening engagement among TNB staff, UNITEN faculty, students, and alumni, while also fostering closer ties with the surrounding community. The programme further contributed to enhancing UNITEN’s brand visibility and reinforcing its strategic partnerships with industry players.
