Alumni Relations
The late Nelson Mandela once said “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world”. Indeed, UNITEN had generated many professionals that contribute to the betterment of the society via innovations, services, ideas and sharing their skills and knowledge that improve the society either locally or globally.
Dream Big: Some of them dare to be different, they dared to dream and taken big risks early in life and chart their career to achieve their dream. Hence it is not surprising that some of UNITEN alumni had become young CEO and managing directors in various industries. Some become entrepreneurs/ founders of their own companies in various industries. Indeed it is so aptly describe UNITEN’s tagline “UNITEN generate CEOs”.
Linking with Industries: Alumni are closely link to industries, they either serve in the companies or they themselves create an industry to serve the community at large. Therefore alumni and industry is interlink and at ACL, we synergies this relationship into one department. Networking with industries is another main function in ACL with the aim of creating a win-win relationship with companies, alumni, university and students.
UNITEN’s 37,124 alumni represent one of the most talented, innovative, and networked communities on the region. We are proud to have our alumni from 58 countries in record thus far. Many remain deeply involved with us. They volunteer, head up UNITEN Alumni Association (UAA), and generously support UNITEN’s students, colleges, and staff. As individuals, their contributions are extraordinary whilst as a community, their impact is infinite.
Vision
“Strongly engaged Alumni and industries that voluntarily contribute back "
Mission
“ACL strives to enhance alumni engagement and networking through various communication channels and activities which will best serve UNITEN alumni and their alma mater”
