Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) has organised a talk entitled Energy Security, Environment Protection and Economic Efficiency on 5^th July 2019.  The talk was given by Professor Dr. Ken Koyama, the Chair in Energy Economics of Energy Commission at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN).

The talk was conducted with the aim to expose participants especially students with energy concerned topics especially on energy security, how to ensure environmental protection alongside energy development and importance of economic efficiency in any policy implementations. In addition, it also aimed to aspire and encourage these students to go in depth into energy economics by highlighting several issues and challenges that need to be addressed in this area.

The talk was attended by about 62 participants mainly students and academics from College of Energy Economics and Social Sciences (CES) and UNITEN. The two hours talk indeed has provide a platform for learning and connecting students and participants with prominent energy economist, Prof Ken Koyama.
