The project meeting on gas study was held at UNITEN is to update project progress on Gas Industry Reform and The Evolution of A Competitive Gas Market in Malaysia. It was attended by Oxford Institute of Energy Studies (OIES) delegates, TNB and UNITEN R&D Sdn. Bhd.

At the closing of the project meeting, there was an exchange ceremony of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between UNITEN and OIES for the TNB-UNITEN-OIES Fellowship Programme. The fellowship programme involves research on gas and electricity market in Malaysia.

The collaboration with the 1^st world university ranking 2020 (University of Oxford), through OIES as an independent centre for advanced research in the economic and social science aspects of energy will be beneficial to UNITEN standing globally in research development.
