Please ensure compliance with these guidelines to avoid any inconvenience.
- Notice to students who plans bring their dependents.

- All students MUST enter Malaysia as INDIVIDUAL TRAVELERS.
- Do not bring your dependents to Malaysia before your Student Pass is issued.
- The Immigration Department will only process Dependent Pass applications after the principal Student Pass has been successfully issued.
- If your dependent enters Malaysia together with you, there will not be enough time to complete the Dependent Pass process, and your dependent will be required to return to their home country.
WHO QUALIFIES AS A DEPENDENT?
Eligible Dependents:

- Spouse (Wife/Husband).
- Children (below 17 years old).
- Mother or Father.

Important Notes:
- Undergraduate students are NOT permitted to bring dependents except
- Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Turkey, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Palestinian Territories, Kuwait, Yemen, Iran, Syria, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Libya, Maldives.
- Siblings and in-laws are NOT eligible to apply for a Dependent Pass.
- Undergraduate students are NOT permitted to bring dependents except
IMPORTANT NOTICE: AVOID THESE ISSUES!
1. Do NOT Delay Submission
Late submission of your dependent’s passport, especially close to the expiry date of the Social/Special Pass obtained upon arrival, can lead to serious complications.
2. Submit Documents Promptly
Please ensure you submit your dependent's passport and required documents to UNITEN International Office within 7 days of arrival in Malaysia for Dependent Pass endorsement.
3. Consequences of Late Submission

- The Immigration Department may refuse to endorse the Dependent Pass.
- If the application is rejected, your dependent may be required to return to their home country and reapply.
- Additional charges may also apply due to delays.
