UNITEN Strengthens Strategic Cooperation with The Embassy of Kazakhstan and TNB

Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) recently received a courtesy visit from H.E. Bulat Sugurbayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Malaysia, in a strategic move to fortify international higher education and research networks between both nations.
The official visit was also attended by the First Secretary of the Embassy of Kazakhstan, Ms. Akmaral Belgibekova, alongside a delegation from the International Regulations & Relations division of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).
The engagement served as an essential platform to explore high-impact collaborative opportunities between UNITEN and academic institutions in Kazakhstan. Key areas of discussion included academic partnerships, joint research initiatives, student exchange and mobility programmes, as well as human capital development and cultural engagement.
As a leading tertiary institution, UNITEN remains steadfast in driving its internationalisation agenda to broaden global exposure, foster an ecosystem of innovation, and unlock impactful opportunities for its academic community and students.
